Are you looking for a fantastic place to eat food, drink alcohol, watch sports, or enjoy your time with friends? I have the solution for you; visit Brewer’s Restaurant and Sport Bar. Brewer’s is a local establishment, which opened to the people in 2009; it is located in 2331 South Avenue B, Yuma Arizona with open hours Monday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.; 1:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 p.m. Sunday. Many locals come to enjoy their homemade brewed beer, and delicious bar food. In addition, the service is of top quality because the servers attend you at all times. Another important feature is the enjoyable and dynamic atmosphere of Brewer’s. Brewer’s is a distinguished place to go for its atmosphere, service, price and food.
As new customers coming into Brewer’s Restaurant and Sport Bar, we did not know what to expect from the quality of the business. We arrived at the restaurant at six o’ clock.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great even if you are not a sport fanatic. We went to the restaurant the day of the Dodgers and Cardinals Game. At the beginning, we found ourselves lost between many fans and their obsession with baseball. Although, the restaurant was airing other events, the crowd was more focused on baseball. Something in the atmosphere sparked our curiosity; it was the love of the game coming from the costumers. Daniel Ramirez, one of the regulars, shared her opinion to us on Brewer’s comfortable atmosphere, “I am not disturbed when I am eating especially during the game, and the televisions are perfect size with perfect volume.” Andrea, one of the reviewer members, thinks that the atmosphere at Brewer’s makes you do something that you never thought that you would do because she never watches sport games, and at Brewer’s she really enjoyed watching the game.
Service is an important part of a restaurant and Brewer’s knows it. The servers are always willing and able to provide excellent service. Daniel shared his opinion to us on Brewer’s great service, “even on busy games days, items are coming out the kitchen quickly.” Once we passed through the door, the server gave us a big smile and greeted us with “Welcome, how many people in your party, and where would you like to sit?” The server guided us to our table and handed us menus. As we were talking, we were not paying attention to the menu, and the server had to come three times to take our order, but she was respectful and very patient. The server still asked us if we needed anything even when we had finished eating. Megan, a new costumer, found the service amazing and told us, “I like that I did not have to ask for more drinks because they refilled it when I did not have enough to drink.” This shows you how good the service is because in other local restaurants like Buffalo Wilds Wings, you have to ask for more drinks.
After our quick and welcoming greeting, they gave us a trifold menu, which came with a variety of appetizers, salads, pizza, lunch, dinner, and desserts with different prices. Once we had made our meal plan for the night, we started with an 8-piece order of boneless mild Buffalo wings for $8.99. Secondly, we ordered a basket of onion rings for $5.99. To try more, we ordered a western burger that came with a choice of sweet potato fries, priced at $11.29. The white pizza cost $12.50, with many ingredients and not too small. Daniel shared this opinion with us, “My favorite thing of the menu is the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which I agree is a reasonable price.” The experience was nothing like what we would have had at any other restaurant. We definitely did not expect to get more quantity for less cost. Our money was worth it.
Right after our appetizers, we finally got our main entrées for the evening. We ordered a western burger that came with cheese, barbeque sauce, bacon, and a choice of sweet potato fries. Arlene, one of the reviewer members, had never been a fan of sweet potato fries, but she really loved Brewer’s fries; they were crispy and sweet. Another entrée was a cheeseburger with bacon, cheese, lettuce, mustard, ketchup, and a choice of taste tots. At Brewer’s, we got a juicy, right off the grill burger with crispy bacon, lightly toasted buns, and melted cheese. We also tried two different styles of pizza. The pepperoni pizza was quite delicious with its melting cheese, and tasty pepperoni. The white pizza was amazing with tasty chicken breasts strips, fried onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes marinated with a delicious artichoke and creamy Alfredo sauce. Brewer’s carries their own beer batter recipe, which explains the unique and delicious taste to these items.
According to reviews of the website Yelp.com, Brewer’s has three out of five starts rating in overall service. We were quite satisfied as we filled up our bellies. We definitely got our money’s worth and some. Amazing atmosphere, service, price, and food make Brewer’s a right place to eat.
